Keep Calm and Develop that Plan: Emergency Preparedness and Disaster Planning for Libraries

The BCLA Continuing Education Committee presents…

Earthquakes, floods, fires, power failures, toxic spills, high winds, winter storms, data loss and security breaches … What’s in your future?

Developed for libraries of all kinds, this workshop provides you with the tools you need to protect your staff, collections, and other valuable assets from risks that could turn into disasters. Learn the essentials of disaster planning, from emergency preparedness and response to business resumption and full operational recovery. If you already have a plan, learn how to make it more effective. If you don’t have a plan, learn how to devise one.

You and your library should get ready for whatever might happen. Don’t be surprised. Be prepared.
