Seeking Submissions for the ALPS Yodeler Blog!

The ALPS Yodeler is back … in a new online format!  As many of you know, the Yodeler is our members’ news column formerly published in the now-retired BCLA Reporter.  We’re all looking forward to the launch of the new BCLA Browser early next year — but in advance of our annual December Meeting (http://www.bcla.bc.ca/alpsdec), ALPS wants to help you get the word out about events and new services, facilities, or staff at your BC academic library this fall through this Yodeler blog.

All members are invited to contribute submissions — and we’ll also plan to send out a summary of Yodeler news items received before Monday, December 1st to the BCLA and ALPS e-mail lists.  Share with your colleagues the news and events happening at your BC academic library or report on a topic of interest to academic librarians!

Submissions should be from 50-500 words and can be submitted for posting to Hope Power, ALPS Recording Secretary, at hpower@sfu.ca  (please include your name, job title, and contact info).  If you have any questions or suggestions regarding the Yodeler, please do not hesitate to contact Hope.  Thanks!
